The Photo

The original image taken by photographer Michael Cooper was quite different from that which finally appeared on the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album cover. Numerous changes were made for esthetic, technical, legal, and ethical reasons.

Now, Yesterday Ink is making available a limited edition of the original Beatles' Sgt. Pepper cover photograph. You can own a large (18"x24") quality lithograph of the album cover, printed from the original negative on heavy stock, uncropped, unedited, and unretouched.

This true "work-in-progress" clearly shows all the props, backdrops, lighting and studio equipment used in the photo production, as well as the changes that were made prior to the final album release.

You'll see it ALL uncut in vivid color and clarity. It is the most clear version because the poster was made from the original negative.

This limited edition print is an authentic poster printed in the 1970's. Each one is signed and numbered.
